Reconciliation
Bridge
The Lord is making clear to us that He wants us to confront the lies Satan is hurling against God's leaders. He is also making it clear we need to balance this by relaying the deep love He has for all of His children who have found themselves in the middle of these current spiritual attacks. He has instructed us to offer a bridge of reconciliation to both the ministers who have been falsely accused and the brethren who have allowed the accuser of the brethren Satan to use them.
Here are some basic steps we are taking to help the Lord bring justice and reconciliation.
Step 1 - Seek The Lord For Revelation Before We Determine a Matter
Step 2 - Gather The Leaders In Our Movement & Decide Our Next Step
Step 3 - Confront The Person Accusing When we have determined an individual has harmed the body of Christ we will begin the Matthew 18 process by approaching them privately.
Step 4 - This Step is Determined by The Accuser's Action
~ If the accuser is willing to open his heart to the truth, we will halt the Matthew 18 due process and begin building a bridge of reconciliation, friendship & tender forgiveness. This is exciting to us! We have been shown multiple times that some will be willing to own their mishaps and reconcile. Jesus said he gave us church leades the authority to retain or remit/forgive men's sins. We will publicly forgive these mean and women if they open their hearts.
~ If the accuser does not open their heart to our gentle approach we will continue to follow the Matthew 18 due process.
~ Step 5 - We Take Multiple Ordained Christian Leaders To Gently Confront These Sins of Accusation
~ Step 6 - If they persist, we are forced to make a public statement about their unwillingness to agree with the Spirit. This first public statement will be one without their name mentioned so they can see how damaging it will be to their reputation if they do not repent. We will give them 24 hours to respond.
~ Step 7 - If it goes this far we have no choice except to warn God's people that we have identified a person who is divisive, rebellious and harmful to the body of Christ. We have an entire team of social media posters and intercessors who will be sure those involved in the smear campaign can see our report. This is where we make a final decision to retain our brother or sister's sin.
~ Step 8 - Jesus also said that whatever we bind on earth will be bound in heaven. In Matthew 18:18, when Jesus said "whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven," he was giving his disciples authority to pray prayers releasing blessing on repentant brethren or prayers releasing judgment on unrepentant brethren. We understand the apostolic authority given to us, and we are authorized to make judicial decisions (binding or loosing) regarding church discipline and reconciliation that reflect God's will.
